Listen to the mustn'ts, child. Listen to the don'ts.
Listen to the shouldn'ts, the impossibles, the won'ts.
Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me...
Anything can happen, child. Anything can be.

There are no seven wonders of the world in the eyes of a child. There are seven million.

To each and every one of my colleagues, a great big thank you and a sincere wish of success on your journey. I hope you all continue to inspire other people and make a difference in the life of each and every child you touch.
Rola,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for all your posts and comments during this course. It has been so nice to take this journey with you and learn from anothers perspective.
I love your quote by Walt Streightiff. Everything to a child is a big thing and as a teacher we should never make them little. Always encourage a child to think the world is their oyster and they will always make it be true.
Rola,
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for all of your wisdom and sharing during this course. It has been so great getting to know more about you and to learn from you as well. The children and families that you work with are truly blessed to have you supporting them. I look forward to learning more from you as I am sure we will share some other classes together. I wish you nothing but the best in your personal and professional journeys.
Rola,
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your experiences. I have learned about from you and look forward to learning more. I see we both chose Dr. Ginott's quote. It is so true. Each person in a child's life leaves their mark. We have an awesome opportunity to leave a positive impression about a child's first experience with school. Good fortune with your studies.
Rola,
ReplyDeleteI really liked your quotes. The first one on your blog I almost put on mine. I agree with it whole heartedly. I think that every experience that a child goes through makes an impression on their lives in some way(whether positive or negative). That is why as parents and educators we need to learn as much as we can about them so we can learn how to enhance their development and not deplete it.
My Rola!
ReplyDeleteI am really touched by the quotes you have selected about children. Your contributions throughout this course have inspired me, encouraged me, and enlightened me. I wish you much success in your endeavers on this Early Childhood Education journey.
