Welcome to my blog everyone. My name is Rola Al-Omar and I am a parent, educator, and a child advocate. After graduating with a bachelor degree in interior design, I made the decision to put my career on hold as my husband and I started a family. Following the birth of my second child, I realized how important it was to have a background in child development in order to raise happy and healthy children. My quest led me to pursue my second degree in child development. As I was studying for my degree, I seized every opportunity to volunteer in my children’s classrooms. As my children grew, my interest in the field grew with them and I became hooked on the field of education and the area of early childhood education in particular. My experience combined with my personal qualities led me to invest furthermore in my education and pursue a Master’s degree in the field of child development with a specialization of administration, management, and leadership. As I journey through my Master's program, I will be posting updated and some valuable information relevant to the field of education and the wellbeing of children. At the end of this journey, I hope I will be able to utilize all my expertise and education to create aesthetically pleasing, functional, and educational environments for children to learn and thrive through their prime time years.
